I’m a British Indian editor and author, and by day I work as Editorial Director at Avon Books (HarperCollins). Previously, I was the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Bad Form, a multi-award-winning magazine by and about writers of colour, where I also threw a lot of events. I’ve hosted events and panels for companies and universities, including Foyles and Waterstones.

I’ve been nominated for numerous awards for my work, including the Allbright Awards, LBF Trailblazer Awards in 2023, and previously named a Big Issue Changemaker of 2022, and a Bookseller Rising Star of 2021.

I’ve also written for British Vogue, the Guardian, and gal-dem. My first novel for young adults, The Between-Worlds B&B, publishes in 2026. I really like books. I’m represented by Emma Leong of Janklow & Nesbit.
